This house, I’m sure, was once gorgeous. It sits on a hillside with an expansive view of farm fields to the west. Today, this poor old lady is abandoned. It’s barns are falling down, the windows in the home are gone but to me it’s still gorgeous.
I saw this house last year while driving up to an appoint and have returned to photographed it a number of times. This photo was taken last week. During the summer you can hardly see the house at all, the overgrown vegetation in the front yard and the surrounding trees almost completely obscure the home from the road.
I’ve added some of my own textures to give the photo some additional atmosphere. I also added some birds to the sky and also added a rabbit in the lower left.
This will be available from my gallery as a print in the near future.
