This image is one of my favorites, it was created for one of the many competitions that take place on Flickr.
It was one of my first photo manipulations that honestly hinted at a “story” which my niece is currently working on for me. She’s 13 and already an amazing writer!
This piece was created using 3 creative commons images from the Flickr Creative Commons group an a couple different textures. A statue from a cemetery in Cleveland, OH, a shot of an old boat house door ca. 1850 in England and a Greek mask.
The range of submissions are incredible and every one of them challenges me to even at least attempt to work at the very high level that a lot of the participants work at. It’s great fun!
