I’ve had this handmade doll for a number of years. IIRC I purchased her up in Vermont in a small country store. I photographed her in the light tent I made a while back — which surprisingly I haven’t destroyed yet and I’m still getting great use out of!
Some textures and brushes were added to give an overall vintage or worn look and I’ve posted her as a print on Imagekind – it looks awesome framed!
I also used another photo from this shoot for a photo manipulation I posted on Flickr. It’s titled “I will wait for you forever”, dolls will do that you know! LOL! You can see it here.
Anyway that image, which used a creative commons image as a background to set the story was chosen as the home page image for the group “In The Memories’ Book” as their Picture of the Week (it appeared for the first week of September) – it’s quite an honor to be chosen for display on a group’s home page! I’m so not worthy…but I try!
