A second place winner! Hey I’m happy if anyone votes for my images!
This was an entry for the Textures Only group over on Fickr. The original image was a small landing strip. At first I tried to do something that looked like a landing strip on mars with a really cool photo taken from over on the NASA web site. But I just couldn’t seem to get the right “look” I was going for.
Then I remembered I have some fantastic little green cartoon alien illustrations from iStockphoto.com – pixelperfectstock, I had purchased the image a couple years ago for a small personal project. The little guys worked out perfectly!
